THE SETTING
Located in the heart of downtown Stevens Point in the historic Matthias Mitchell Square. Walking to our shop is a walk through the centuries of trade and exchange of handmade goods that are embedded in this downtown.
THE SCENE
The walls are covered in original paintings by New York based painter Mark Symczak and shop co-owner Lenora Howl along with other special appearances by photographers, sculptors, and painters close to our hearts. Mixed in with the bottles from all over the world sit various artifacts from our constant hunt for treasures. An extra breath of life is added by always changing flower arrangements by our dear friends Fields & Flora.
THE STAGE
We regularly host live music events that have ranged from the acoustic harp to the super loud resonance of multiple amps. This space transforms according to the excitement and curiosity of the curators and has hosted visual art exhibits, film screenings, and banquet table gatherings.
THE MASTER OF CEREMONIES
Keith Howl has that particular combination of backgrounds that really makes Caravan a memorable experience. Blending wine, performance, and education creates a personal connection to alcohol and non- alcoholic beverages that transcends your senses alone. We call this Attention! And he humbly gives his attention to every bottle, tasting, and conversation to pass through our shop.
