Peychaud's was originally created in in 1830 by a Creole apothecary from Haiti who settled in New Orleans. This is the perfect natural counterpart to the Angostura bitters in your home bar. Also based on gentian and a blend of herbs and spices, Peychaud's has a stronger anise and mint quality while also is slightly less concentrated.
