 Falernum is a common ingredient behind many bars in the Caribbean. It adds spice, weight and texture to many rum cocktails. It can be used as an elevated simple syrup, or even just poured over some fresh berries for a little refreshing treat.

Here's a simple cocktail: STRANGE BREW - 2oz. London Gin, 3/4oz Falernum, shaken with ice. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Top off with 2oz IPA and a lemon peel.
